How to say "I am ___. " (In japanese)

When we introduce ourselves to others, we usually state our name.

example:
I am jaimie = watashi wa jaimie desu

◙ Watashi means 'I.'
◙ Wa is a particle which marks the subject of a sentence.

We can also say;
 Sally desu. = I am Sally.

Guys used to say 'Boku wa' instead of 'watashi wa'.
example:

Boku wa jack desu.

'Boku is used only by males.

note:
anata = you.
watashi = me/ i'm

example:

◙ Watashi wa Jaimie desu./ Jaimie desu = I am Jaimie
◙ Boku wa Jack desu./ Jack desu  = I am Jack.

Ijou desu.... jaa. ne~ (>_O)m
